Minimum configuration required: kernel ≥ 2.6, PC- Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, Architecture processor 64-bit

Recommended configuration: kernel ≥ 2.6, PC- Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM, Architecture processor 64-bit

Setup

  • Untar the LIFEx.tar file in a directory of your choice (tar xf LIFEx....tar)
  • Execute the launcher script called ./LIFEx_start.sh

Some launch parameters can be set according to your configuration. Do not hesitate to increase the memory size allocated to Java Virtual Machine with Xms variables and Xmx, e.g. Xms = 1GB Xmx = 8GB.
